About the Glock 26 Gen5
The Glock 26 is the subcompact that defined the double-stack pocket pistol: ten rounds in a frame short enough to vanish inside a waistband. The Gen5 version adds the Marksman barrel, an nDLC slide finish, and a reversible magazine catch while dropping the finger grooves of earlier generations. Longer Glock magazines from the 19 and 17 fit when concealment gives way to range time, giving owners a single pistol that scales from ten to seventeen rounds. The 3.43-inch barrel trades velocity for size, and holster, sight, and parts support remains among the broadest in the industry.
