About the Hi-Point C9
The C9 is Hi-Point's full-size 9mm, built around a fixed barrel and a simple blowback action that trades weight for mechanical simplicity. Near 29 ounces it is heavier than most polymer rivals, and that mass is why the pistol manages 9mm recoil so calmly during range strings. The single-column magazine holds eight rounds, the slide locks open after the last shot, and the grip accommodates larger hands without extensions. The design prioritizes dependable function over refinement, and a lifetime warranty reflects an intent to repair the pistol rather than retire it.
