About the Ruger Security-9
The Ruger Security-9 holds 15 rounds behind a 4-inch barrel and uses the Secure Action fire control that Ruger shares with its American Pistol line, delivering a bladed-safety trigger with a defined break at a budget that undercuts most mid-size polymer competitors. Sights are adjustable and replaceable, the frame carries a rail for lights, and the pistol's mid-20-ounce weight keeps it comfortable for all-day carry. It is commonly recommended as a first handgun because the controls are conventional, the manuals are clear, and the maintenance routine is simple to learn.
