About the Smith & Wesson M&P9 M2.0
The M&P9 M2.0 revises Smith & Wesson's striker-fired service pistol with a reinforced internal chassis, aggressive grip stippling, and a trigger that breaks crisper with a more defined reset than the original M&P. The 4.25-inch barrel and 17-round magazine match full-size duty standards, and four interchangeable palmswells adjust grip reach. Forward cocking serrations support press checks, disassembly happens without pulling the trigger, and the stainless slide resists holster wear over daily carry. Departments that standardized on the first generation upgraded to the M2.0 for the improved trigger and texture.
