About the Taurus G3C
The Taurus G3C is the budget compact that brought a 15-round magazine, a receiver-mounted Picatinny rail, and magazine interchangeability with earlier G-series pistols to the entry-level market. Upgrades over the outgoing G2C include a steel-reinforced polymer frame, reworked slide serrations, and a striker system with a second-strike capability that lets the shooter pull again on a stubborn primer. The 3.2-inch barrel keeps the package short for inside-the-waistband carry while the trigger, though not match grade, breaks predictably after a short take-up. Owners point to the wide availability of holsters and spare magazines as an everyday advantage.
