About the Beretta 686 Silver Pigeon I

The Silver Pigeon I uses Beretta's 686 action, whose low-profile receiver keeps the hand close to the bore line and lets the stock carry a trimmer grip than taller designs allow. The 12-gauge, 20-gauge, and 28-gauge versions share the same handling, so a shooter can step between gauges without relearning the mount. Field barrels run 28 inches, interchangeable chokes adjust patterns for the task at hand, and the engraved receiver finishes a package equally at home on a sporting clays course or a walked-up field.
