About the FN FNX-45
The FN FNX-45 pairs a .45 ACP chambering with a 15-round magazine, among the largest capacities in the class, inside a frame whose controls run fully ambidextrous including the slide stop and decocker. The hammer-fired design can carry cocked and locked like a 1911 or decock for a double-action first shot, a choice most polymer pistols do not offer. The 4.5-inch barrel slows the cartridge's push into a manageable impulse, and the grip texture holds position through rapid strings. Its overbuilt slide and frame reflect the military trials heritage of the design.
