About the Mossberg 940 Pro Tactical

The 940 Pro Tactical is Mossberg's modern defensive autoloader, using a gas system the company rates for 2,500 rounds between cleanings, which cuts maintenance during training blocks. The barrel measures 18.5 inches for handy indoor use, and the tang safety stays where Mossberg shooters expect it, and the synthetic stock shrugs off weather without special care. The gun's mass absorbs the push of full-power buckshot during strings of fire, and configurations span tactical and competition builds within the same family, so one gun can cover a duty rack or a weekend match.
